Howdy everyone and welcome to my blog, Grace Homemaking!  I am learning more and more about the grace of God and how He wants us to love our husbands, raise our children and live our lives daily!  And I know whatever the Lord has in store for me will be amazing, and that is just here on earth and not the finally stop in Heaven which is beyond words!

 "I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 

I want His plans for me, not my own and by His grace that has saved me, I have a chance to live the path He has chosen for my family and myself.  I am still learning daily how He wants me to use my days wisely, and I am still not very good at it! 

"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears her down." Proverbs 14:1

I don't know about you, but I want to build my house and use the tools God has given me to grow and walk with Him! Prayer, and His word being the most imporant!

We live in a small town in city limits which can make trying to eat home grown foods a little harder.  For I can't have a huge garden and I am not allowed to have chickens (which we go through 6 dozen of eggs a week).  We are trying to find and make good homemade, whole foods for our family and taking it all step by step.  This is not an easy path in today's world but we do see the hard work paying off in so many ways.  I also have gotten to have the joy of homeschooling my children.  We have two in grade school level, one preschooler and one toddler! My days are filled and most of the time I feel like it is crazy and pretty much out of control but out of all that comes laughter and smiles, hugs and kisses and the joy of watching my children grow and learn! I pray that God uses me and this blog to bless, help, and encourager others! 

ps.  I am not a writter.  I did okay in English class when I was in High School, but not great, so please hang-in there with me if my grammar or even spelling is wrong!  I still love to share even if I can't get it perfect!  No one is perfect right!
